The Great Indian One-Horned Rhinoceros (Rhinoceros unicornis) and the Royal Bengal Tiger (Panthera tigris tigris) are the flagship species of the National Park. The other species sharing the habitat are Asiatic Elephant (Elephas maximus), Hog Deer (Axis porcinus), Wild Pig (Sus scrofa), Water Buffalo (Bubalus bubalis) etc.
Besides them, there are smaller mammals like Civet, Leopard Cat, Fishing Cat, Jungle Cat, Fox, Hispid Hare, Porcupine, Otter etc. The Park is rich in a variety of birds too. It is an important habitat of Bengal Florican (Houbaropsis bengalensis) which is critically endangered in India.
